BLAZE Community Games: The Games go global!

Team up in three and battle it out in the heats for a chance to compete in the UK and international finals of the BLAZE Community Games.

The ultimate test of tactics and teamwork. Ready to put your brain and body to the test?

Let the games begin…

What are the BLAZE Community Games?

A competition like no other. In teams of three, you’ll go head to head with other teams in the BLAZE Community Games Heats. Score points as a team through minutes in the red zone, reps and distance. Every time you take part in a heat the score will be added to the national leaderboard.

Once the heats are closed, the top 10 teams across the UK will be invited to the UK final at David Lloyd Raynes Park. The winners will then be entered into the first-ever International final at David Lloyd Aravaca in Spain. If you’re in it to win it, you can expect amazing prize bundles plus all of the bragging rights!

Who can enter?

This is a community challenge and is open to all members with BLAZE included in their membership.  If you haven’t joined a BLAZE class before, it’s the perfect time to get together with some friends and give it a try!

How do I enter?

To enter, simply book into one of our special BLAZE Community Games Heats, with your team, via the app.

Do I have to be in a team?

The Games are run in teams of three people, but if you’d like to take part and don’t have a team, we’ll help you get together with like-minded BLAZERS.  Just speak to the BLAZE Supervisor at your club or your BLAZE instructor.

How do I take part?

Join in one of the Heats running from 2nd March – 30th March. Each club will run two BLAZE Games Heats every week, and you can enter as many times as you want to submit your best score.

How is it scored?

Scoring is through a combination of time in the MyZone red zone and reps/distance achieved.

Points are awarded for minutes in the red zone from 1-30. The points build up and the maximum points are attained when you hit between 9 and 18 mins. Anyone getting less than 9 minutes in the red zone will get fewer points, and the points reduce from 19-30.

The aim is to hit between 9 and 18 minutes to get the most points possible from the workout. Distance run on the treadmill and repetitions performed on the Strength and Combat stations will be recorded too.

Ultimately, it’s about taking part and getting a great workout, so whatever your score, we encourage you to give it a go!

Can I try again?

Yes, entries to the heats are unlimited, so you can enter as many times as you wish to submit your best score.

What happens if I’m top of the leaderboard?

The top 10 teams from across the UK will go through to the BLAZE Games final at David Lloyd Raynes Park. The winners of the UK final will then go to the International Final at David Lloyd Aravaca in Spain.

When is the final?

The UK final is on 11 May 2024 at David Lloyd Raynes Park. The International final is on the 8th June 2024 at David Lloyd Aravaca in Spain.

What do we win?
