Back to life, back to reality: Find your balance and routine this September

As September rolls back around, we’ve carried out research into the nation’s post-holiday mood. The results are in: although some people feel re-charged and re-energised after a summer of fun, a fifth of us admit that the holidays leave us feeling unhealthy. A quarter admit to feeling in a slump from drinking too much alcohol!

What’s more, nearly half of us feel anxious, stressed and irritated when our usual schedule is disrupted, highlighting the importance of implementing a routine for our mental health and overall well-being.

That’s why so many people use September as a chance to refocus on well-being and reset routines. To kick-start this process, and to celebrate World Wellness Weekend (15th – 17th September 2023), we’ll be running a virtual Find Your Balance Festival for both members and non-members to enjoy. There’ll be a range of free activities, including everything from sound meditation to energising dance classes.

We’ll also reveal the secrets to finding balance in your everyday routine in an Instagram Live Q&A panel with our David Lloyd Clubs’ wellness experts. Tune into David Lloyd Clubs’ social channels from 10am Friday 15th September for the chance to take part in the virtual festival.

In addition, selected clubs across the UK will have a Wellness Open Weekend – enjoy a range of holistic activities with a free day pass, subject to availability.
