Your marathon motivation playlist

Running can be a challenging workout, whether you’re training for a marathon, just starting out or even just hitting the treadmill. Choose a motivational playlist – like ours! – and it’ll help you power through every mile.

From the warm up to hitting the wall – we’ve got a song to suit every stage of your run.

Good luck!

Warm up – Get your body and mind ready for the challenge ahead with motivational melodies such as Pump up the Jam by Technotronic and Let’s Go by Calvin Harris (feat NeYo).

First few miles – You’re off and feeling good; pump up that positivity with songs such as Can’t Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake and Don’t Stop me Now by Queen.

The middle miles – The excitement of starting is wearing off, but the excitement of finishing is still many miles away. Stay on track and pick yourself up with tunes such as Gotta Get Thru this by Daniel Bedingfield and Keep on Movin’ by Five.

THE WALL! – It’s happened. You feel like you’ve been running forever but it’s still not over. Don’t forget how amazing you are and how much you’ve achieved already. Give yourself some much-needed TLC and battle through those tough few miles with songs such as Stronger by Kelly Clarkson and Survivor by Destiny’s Child.

Nearly there – The finish line is in sight, the crowds are cheering, and those endorphins are buzzing. Keep that spring in your step and try and enjoy those last few miles with songs such as Beautiful Day by U2, There’s Nothing Holding Me Back by Shawn Mendes and Ain’t Got Far To Go by Jess Glynne.

Finish/cool down – You’ve done it and accomplished something huge. Bask in the glory and have a much-needed stretch with tracks such as We Are The Champions by Queen, You’re a Superstar by Love Inc and Good as Hell by Lizzo.
